17/161 - 17/161 - National Inline Inspection Contract

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

Gas Networks Ireland requires parties to engage in a framework for the provision of an inline inspection service using the principle of Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) of their gas transmission pipeline system to carry out internal inspection of selected pipelines to determine any internal or external metal loss, pipeline damage, defects, etc. It will include all activities associated with pre-inspection, inspection and post inspection. It will include all logistics, pre-cleaning activities, provision for pollution, recording of data, analysis of data and presentation of results. It may or may not also include temporary inline filtration. The scope of work includes but is not necessarily limited to the provision of suitable qualified staffing to prepare, manage, carry out and analyse the activities, all material and recording equipment. The duration of the contract will be for an initial period of five years with an option to extend for two further one year periods. Currently GNI intend to perform inspections on 18 pipelines between Q3 2020 and Q2 2027. GNI employ a risk based inspection regime so the overall scope and the scope for any given year is subject to change. As per the PQQ document.
