Multi Party Contractor Framework - Civil Engineering Works associated with Water Supply to Group Water Schemes including Minor Environmental Works in County Donegal

Donegal County Council as the Contracting Authority proposes to establish and operate a Multi Party Framework Agreement for Works Contractors for Civil Engineering works for the provision, upgrade and maintenance of water supply to Group Water Schemes in the five municipal districts within the County. This work may include but is not limited to: • Site set up and preliminaries in remote areas. • Watermain installation, repair and upgrade, jointing etc to Irish Water standards. • Pressure testing of mains. • Quality testing of mains water, incl. super chlorination of new mains etc. • Civil Engineering site clearance, excavations, backfilling, road reinstatement • General working along public roads including Traffic Management Plans, Design and Implementation. • Road reinstatement in compliance with TII Purple book standards • Administration of Licencing incl. applications, payments and all works associated with the licence application. • General working in mainly rural terrain associated with water network duties incl. laying, maintaining and provision of water supply infrastructure • Basic Leak Detection ie Finding and Fixing. • Concrete supply and laying for bases for Kiosks, Pump stations, break pressure piers etc incl. reinforcement, shuttering etc if required • Fitting of valves and pipe fittings including but not limited to Sluice Valves, Scour Valves, Air Valves, Bulk meters, pressure meters, flow meters. • All associated Health and Safety Compliance obligations in accordance with the Health Safety and Welfare at Work Act 2016 and subsequent relevant Regulations • To carry out works for GWS promoters if requested to do so by the CA. • To contract manage and / or sub contract any Mechanical and Electrical Works requested by the CA. • The Client also has a responsibility for Environmental works which includes maintenance of Beaches for items such as access, egress, car parking, signage, boardwalk repair and installation, ringbouy maintenance and various other minor works which may be needed f
