An advanced high-resolution platform for in vitro electrophysiological recordings and imaging is required for the Cunningham Laboratory in the Discipline of Physiology (School of Medicine). This instrument is required for the electrophysiological analysis of brain tissues samples from preclinical animal models and human patients. The system should provide unprecedented spatial and temporal resolution in terms of active electrode recording sites. The instrument must provide a minimum of 4,000 bidirectional electrodes, i. e. all the electrodes must be used to simultaneously record data at 18kHz and induce electrical stimulation at any of the 4,000 microelectrodes. MEA chips must provide a recording area larger than 12 mm2. Trinity College is engaging in this premarket engagement to determine the required functionality can be achieved for the fixed budget of €56,000 ex VAT. Interested vendors should submit a brochure and their contact details. All queries can be directed to the eTenders mailbox.
