7603 - Certification of Lifting Equipment
Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) requires the services of a technically competent and experienced company to undertake certification of its’ lifting equipment in line with statutory requirements. The successful company will be required to certify all lifting equipment at the required intervals (6 monthly, 12 monthly, due date etc), maintain an on-line register of equipment and provide replacement consumable equipment (i.e. chains, web slings etc) when required.
The equipment is located in a number of IÉ engineering facilities across a large geographical area in the Republic of Ireland.
The types of lifting equipment involved are (but not limited to):
• Cranes
• Ropes Slings
• Scissors Grabs
• Bottle Jacks
• Safety Shackles
• Lever Hoists
• Lifting Ropes
The contract, the subject of this competition is a contract for 36 months with an option to extend by 24 months at IE's discreation.
