OMcG 07/20 - Scohaboy Bog NHA Restoration Works

Under this contract, it is intended for the Contractor to take possession of the development site of approximate area of 101 Ha in area for the purposes of carrying out bog restoration works. The Works can be summarised as follows: • Construction of peat dams within existing drains. • Construction of plastic dams to form weirs where necessary. • Construction of enhanced peat dams (Sandwich Dams) where necessary. • Construction of trench bunds with finger bunds • Construction of contour bunds with finger bunds • Erection of Warning Signs cautioning of danger due to deep water
