Re-development of OPW Offices, Headford, Co. Galway - Mechanical Sevices Installation Works

INVITATION TO TENDER

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

As you have been shortlisted for the Mechanical Works element of the above mentioned project you are hereby invited to prepare and submit a tender in accordance with the Mechanical Works Requirements set out in the enclosed Public Works documentation and Instruction to Tenderers.  Preferred Reserved Specialists will be selected for the Mechanical and Electrical elements of the project by the OPW, but will be appointed by the Main Contractor.

 

Return of Tenders

 

The closing date for receipt of tenders will be at least two weeks after the identity of the preferred Main Tenderer has been made known to Tenderers for the Reserved Specialist Works, the actual return date will be advised in due course.

 

Tender Submission

 

The completed tender package must be submitted using the “Messaging” facility in e-Tenders. 

To submit a return Applicants must go to the RFT page, select the "Messaging" tab, select the "New Message" button, fill in the message details, attach the completed documentation using the "Attach files…" button and submit the return using the "Send" button.

 

The successful Contractor must at least:

 

•        Have a valid Tax Clearance Certificate and

•        Have all relevant insurances 

 

The Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland shall not be bound to accept the lowest or any tender. Contractors should note that acceptance of a tender will constitute a binding and enforceable contract.
