Appointment of  Design Team (Engineering Services ) for the refurbishment of existing accommodation and the construction of additional accommodation and associated works at St. Killians College, New Inn, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Roll Number 71310P.

The school is located in the village of New Inn, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. It has a current enrolment of 169 students with a teaching staff of 14 plus 5 part-time. The site is restrictive in nature and in order to facilitate the expansion of the school a site of .226 ha was procured which is joining the school lands. The new school accommodation will replace existing rooms within the school and these rooms are to be refurbished. There are a number of prefabs on site and these are to be removed as part of these works.

The work comprises  the provision of additional accommodation – 1* Art Room , 1 * Science Lab/Prep area, 1 * Economics Room , 1 * Woodwork Room as per the schedule attached.

This project is designated as Type 2a (2)

The Notional Capital Value is   €2,130,000 ex Vat
