The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

The successful installation shall supply DAFM with a key strategic system to ensure DAFM upholds its commitments to its internal/external clients and the wider Agri-Food industry. DAFM expects the contracted supplier to provide: - An off the shelf laboratory information management system (LIMS) that has the capability to integrate with other crucial systems in use across DAFM Laboratory Service. - A scalable solution that supports DAFM Laboratory Services for the lifetime of the system. - A system that supports all aspects of DAFM Laboratory activities (Sample Reception, Sample Preparation, Worksheet building and control, Allocation of Work, Testing and Re-Testing, Data Analysis, Case Investigation, Approval, Reporting and Chain of Custody). - The system should provide a comprehensive suite of reporting functionality. With the ability for users to easily adapt reporting templates and as much as possible reporting functionality managed completely in-house by DAFM. - The system should be accessible and connectable with other software products for laboratory operational and data analytics purposes. - The system should be accessible remotely; where possible via an internet browser. - The LIMS system should have the capacity to provide real-time evidence (dashboards) to enable management decision-making. - All processes must be recorded in the LIMS such that verification and validation of processes and actions are captured and saved. - The system should have the ability to interface with a number of DAFM in-house systems and external systems. - The successful system shall be implemented in a phased approach with the successful supplier required to give a long-term commitment to DAFM. The phases will be defined in conjunction with DAFM and the successful supplier. - DAFM Laboratory Services currently process approximately 170,000 samples annually.
