CLIMATE ACTION - Engagement of suitably qualified consultants/trainers to design, develop and deliver a high quality and motivational training programme called" Climate Change and Local Leadership through Action
Tipperary County Council as Contracting Authority for the Local Authority Services National Training Group (LASNTG), is seeking tenders from suitably qualified consultant(s)/trainer(s) for the design, development and delivery of a high quality and motivational training programme entitled "Climate Change and Local Leadership through Action". This training programme will be rolled out to each local authority on a Regional Basis defined according to the location of local authorities within the four Climate Action Regional Offices (CARO) and coordinated by the five Regional Training Centres located at Roscrea, Stranolar, Ballycoolin, Ballincollig and Castlebar. Training will be delivered locally within each local authority area (availing of this programme) and on an individual basis. Training will be tailored to each local authority (and CARO Region) focused on vulnerabilities, risks and climatic hazards of local authorities to negative impacts of climate change. Tenders are requested for the delivery of this local authority training programme on a regional basis according to the four CARO Regions set out in the Request for Tender document attached. The Contracting Authority may appoint more than one training provider to ensure the programme is delivered to all local authorities within an agreed timeframe across the four CARO Regions.
