Re:     Proposed Extension to Killeen Community Centre, Killeen Louisburgh, Co Mayo

 

 

Dear Sir/Madam,

 

 We write on behalf of Killeen Community Council, the client, who invite tenders from competent Building Contractors in relation to the construction of a single storey extension to Killeen Community centre together with all associated site works and services connections. 

 

This tender competition will operate under a 2 stage ‘Open Procedures’,

 

·         Stage 1 Pass/Fail Suitability Assessment Procedure

 

·         Stage 2 Tender price evaluation process for the award of the works contract.

 

Failure to submit any item of information requested in the suitability assessment questionnaires can result in the disqualification of a tender.

 

The Applicant should also note the following; 

a)    The Tenderers Personal Situation Declaration (Appendix A2) is required to be witnessed by a Commissioner of Oaths only and dated within 12 months of this letter

b)    It is the intention of Killeen Community Council l to appoint the successful contractor as the Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage, on the project. Template PSCS Appointment Form MF1.10 refers.

c)    It is the responsibility of the tenderer to make himself familiar with all aspects of the  works required  and it is strongly recommended that the tenderer  visit and inspect the relevant site.  

 

A valid tender submission must include the following 3 elements submitted electronically on the Etenders website

 

 

a.    Suitability Assessment Questionnaires QW2 and all associated supplements and appendices, completed in full together with all requested information/evidence and signed declarations .

b.    FTS 6 Form of Tender & Schedule (v1.4 dated 30th June 2016) signed and completed in full .

 

c.     Pricing Document Volume C, completed in full. 

 

All should be submitted electronically by the deadline date & time as indicated in the Tender Notice (16.00hrs Monday 6th April 2020):

Tenders should not be accompanied by statements which could be construed as rendering the Tender equivocal or placing it on a different footing from the other Tenders.

Any alteration or modification of the tender documentation issued shall invalidate the tender.
