Replacement of Distribution Main - Killaturley Co-operative Society Limited Group Water Scheme Replacement of Distribution Mains Works

Installation of HDPE new distribution mains including the following: * 32mm OD (HDPE) SDR11 - approximately 33m * 63mm OD (HDPE) SDR11 - approximately 329m * 160mm OD (HDPE) SDR17 - approximately 2,817m i. Installation of associated pipeline fittings, connections, etc. ii. Installation of 33 No Sluice & Scour Valves, 9 No Air Valves and Hydrants and 3 No Bulk Meters. iii. Disposal of excavated material in accordance with the current Waste Management Acts. iv. Connections to the existing mains to be carried out during a controlled shut down. v. All fittings necessary to allow the connection from the existing main to the new main. vi. Installation of all valves and the connection changeover to be carried out on a phased basis. vii. Construction of pipelines over/under rivers and over/under culverts. viii. Employment where necessary of an Ecologist approved by the National Parks & Wildlife Services. ix. Taking account of the location of Archaeological sites located within the work site/area and ensure no uncontrolled access is made into any registered site area. x. Making provision for temporary and permanent road reinstatement, and land restoration. xi. Application for any Road Opening licence.
