Tower Hill FETC to 2nd level Sch - Invitation to Tender for Architectural Consultancy Services for the proposed Refurbishment of Tower Hill FET Centre for use as a 2nd Level School (Dunamase College, Portlaoise, Co Laois)

On behalf of Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board you are hereby invited to tender for Architectural Consultancy Services (including buying in of all services/disciplines which are likely to be required for this project.) This project will involve the following  Seek tenders in respect of securing quotes for the proposed Refurbishment of Tower Hill FET Centre for use as a 2nd Level School (Dunamase College, Portlaoise, Co Laois)  Supervise the works on site throughout the construction phase  Prepare and issue regular costs reports  Prepare and conclude final accounts for this project  Provide the necessary Certification and sign off upon completion of the works  Manage the safety file throughout the works  The successful Architect will also be required to assist with the marking of the tenders once received, and prepare a recommendation to Laois and Offaly ETB in relation to the tenderer for selection in accordance with public procurement guidelines and DoES technical guidance. Proposed Scheme Overview  New Stairs Area and Lift Provision 27 Sq m  Alterations (Minor) 1114 Sq m  Alterations (Major) 417 Sq m  Specialised Room Fit-Outs (1 – IT Room & 2 – Science Rooms) The Budget Cost estimate for this option is €868,685.00 (ex VAT 13.5%/Professional Fees/ongoing costs)
