North West Greenway Network Route 1 - Economic Appraisal and User Forecasting Report

Specialist Technical Services to prepare and Economic Appraisal and User Forecasting Report including: An assessment of the predicted potential future users (PPFUs) of the facility. The assessment should be consider, as a minimum, the following factors which are anticipated to influence the predicted potential future users; • population of the local area • population of towns and settlements along the route • local schools • local places of employment • current and projected tourism numbers • existing travel patterns and projected travel patterns Economic Appraisal of the proposed Greenway development, to comply with the Public Spending Code 2013 issued by the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. The Economic Appraisal should also be in accordance with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Project Appraisal Guidelines (TII PAG) for National Roads Projects. Consultants are referred to the following sections of TII PAG in particular; • Unit 12 (Minor Projects) and • Unit 13 (Pedestrian & Cyclist Facilities)
