Civil & Structural Engineering Services Additional Accommodation 2019 - 2 Classroom SEN Base (Total area incl walls and circulation 524m2) at Collinstown Park CC

The project will comprise of two additional separate classrooms for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, at Collinstown Park Community College, Rowlagh, Clondalkin, Dublin 22. The additional classes are intended to meet the needs of pupils with complex and severe educational needs arising from the diagnosis of ASD. The classes are intended for pupils who have a diagnosis of Autism meeting DSM IV/V or ICD diagnostic criteria. The additional classes are for all pupils who meet these criteria irrespective of cognitive ability. The special classrooms for ASD will have maximum of 6 pupils and will be staffed with 1.5 teaching posts and 2 special needs assistants per class. A Separate competition for the appointment of Architectural/ Building Services Engineering (M&E) / Quantity Surveying & PSDP Services, is to be run in Parallel with the Design Team appointments. An open day for site visits will be held on Monday 20th January 2020, from 9:30am to 2:00pm
