The Department of Education and Skills intends to run a competitive procurement process for the provision of an Integrated leave management and payroll solution. As part of this process the Department of Education and Skills wishes to take market soundings on integrated leave management and payroll solutions in terms of technology, functionality and support arrangements available. The Department of Education and Skills is planning to replace the current payroll divisions online leave and part-time payment claims system (a bespoke system called the Online Claims System (OLCS)) and the current payroll solution with a more up-to-date technology solution in order to future proof the delivery of services and provide enhancements such as self-service functionality for payees.
