Historic Landfills 2020 - Environmental Risk Assessments

The Tenderer is invited to submit a Tender for the carrying out TIER 2 AND TIER 3 ASSESSMENTS, REMEDIATION PLANS, AA SCREENING AND NATURA IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THREE (3) HISTORIC LANDFILLS IN GALWAY COUNTY. The 3 No. historic landfills are located at: 1. Gort 2. Tuam 3. New Inn The Tenderer will review the Tier 1 risk assessments and carry out Tier 2 and Tier 3 risk assessments for each of the 3 No. Historic Landfills in Galway County in accordance with the guidelines and recommendations contained in the EPA Code of Practice- Environmental Risk Assessment for Unregulated Waste Disposal Sites; prepare Site Specific Remediation plans and complete an Appropriate Assessment Screening and, if required, prepare a Natura Impact Statement. Please note that the Consultant shall carry out the above separately for each Historic landfill.
