Lingaun Valley- AR Heritage - The development and implementation of an augmented reality (AR) heritage tourism interpretation product for three sites in the Lingaun Valley region

To whom it concerns,

 

Kilkenny LEADER Partnership (KLP) requests tenders from a suitably qualified party to develop, implement and commission a visitor experience using augmented reality (AR) technology accessed through visitors own smart phones and tablets in three specific heritage sites displaying the sites attractions as they would have been experienced at or soon after their construction.  The sites selected are all in the Kilkenny part of the overall Lingaun Valley region and are:

 

  1.  Killkieran High Crosses
  2.  Knockroe Passage Tomb
  3.  Killamery High Cross

 

In general, the tender will require the development of a ‘turn key’ visitor experience at each site selected illustrating the heritage site at it’s most interesting from a heritage visitor perspective.

The tender response will be expected to address the following requirements and elements for each site:

 

  • AR platforms
  • Digital Connectivity
  • On site Infrastructure / Offsite Hardware & Software
  • Heritage Research
  • Artwork
  • Overall Integration
  • Business Plan

Tenders must be submitted through the etneder potral by a deadline of 15.00 GMT on Friday the 22nd of November.
