SmartPly 2019 - 4 - SmartPly Europe DAC are seeking expressions of interests from Civil Engineering Contractors for the following scope of works LOT 1 – Enabling Works & LOT 2- Main Civil Works

SmartPly have plans to modernize the SmartPly OSB facility with an investment in new equipment for biomass heat energy, wood strand drying and screening system. The new plant equipment will be housed predominately outside the main building production area, however some equipment will remain inside the exiting main building. In order to facilitate this scope of works SmartPly Europe are seeking expressions of interest from Civil Engineering Contractors who wish to be part of one or more of the following tenders; LOT 1 - Enabling Works and LOT 2 – Main Civils Works. LOT 1 - Enabling Works commencement date is set for Week 8 of February 2020 LOT 2 – Main Civils Works commencement date Week 15 of April 2020. The Civil Engineering Contractors will have to specify if they are interested in one more lots and must be able to commit to the commencement dates, failure to complete this section may result in the PQQ submission being null and void. The scope of works of LOT 1; Enabling Works is likely to include but not limited to: 1. The construction of asphalt and concrete paved roads. 2. Alterations to factory entrance area and its layout. 3. The construction of a Contractors Compound and associated services – water supply, telecommunications, electrical services and waste water treatment and disposal The construction of a new yard 4. The civil works associated with the diversion of the existing fire main and existing electrical and telecommunications services. 5. Relocating of a drain ditch The scope of works of LOT 2; Main Civils Works is likely to include but not limited to: 1. Concrete Wet fuel bunker 2. Concrete Plinths for new drying system 3.
