Reserved Specialist - Lift Installation - with Design Input, for Macroom Library & Theatre Refurbishment, Main Street, Macroom, Co. Cork

The proposed works comprise of extensive demolition works to the existing structure, consisting of a complete reconfiguration of the internal layouts and structures, demolition and removal of the existing external fire damaged structures to the rear, demolition and clearing out of the existing internal structures throughout, partial retention of three number boundary/party walls, reconfiguration of front of house facilities, auditorium space including construction of upper balcony, reconfiguration and construction of back of house facilities (library and theatre), construction of additional floor levels to front and rear. Increasing the seating capacity from 180 to 220 seats, construction of a new contemporary designed street elevation. The Briery gap is a 4 storey building encompassing a library on the ground floor and theatre on level 1,2 and 3. The theatre consists of a large auditoriu and stage area, changing rooms, bar, WC's and circulation area. The project above requires full lift installation services.
