Construction of New Sea Wall and Footpath at Market Place, Youghal, Co. Cork

The works comprise the construction of a new concrete sea wall and footpaths and repair to the quay walls at Market place. The repair work involves: (a)Removal of existing footpaths and kerbing. (b)construction of new reinforced concrete wall (c) construction of new footpath (d)construction of new raised pedestrian crossing (e)road and carpark linings (f)vertical coring on quay surface and voids pumped with natural hydraulic lime grout. (g)the provision of new gulley trap at road level with new pipework and non-return valve through existing opening in quay wall
