Refurbishment Works, Munster Regional Communications Centre (MRCC)      

Generally the works consist of the Refurbishment and alteration of the internal fabric of the MRCC Building with Mechanical and Electrical upgrade works. The Munster Regional Communications Centre (MRCC) is responsible for handling all emergency (999/112) Fire calls in the Munster region (mobilizing the 69 Fire Stations in the region).The Centre operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The MRCC Equipment Room and it's cabling (which runs under the MRCC yard and car park) is mission critical. As such, an equipment and cable protection plan must be agreed in advance of works commencement. The plan must include work area enclosure to ensure dust protection and adequate access control measures
