ITT19-043 - Expertise in BFT Tagging Programme

The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders for the supply of Expertise to support the Marine Institute’s blue fin tuna tagging programme off the North West Coast of Ireland (ICES Division 6a) in 2019. A requirement exists to: (1) work closely with the Marine Institutes team at sea during the 2019 BFT tagging programme) (2) investigate the immediate activity of satellite tagged BFT post release. The tender application should include the specifications and costs of the tags proposed to be used in the work. (3) Provide a report outlining the immediate impact of capture, tagging and release on bluefin tuna taken in Irish waters.
