2019 - SmartPly 7 - Suitability Questionnaire for the Provision of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System for Medite Smartply

Medite Smartply (MS) invites suitability qualified tier 2 supplier proposals for inclusion in the tender for the supply of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) at both manufacturing sites as one system. As a reasonable guide into the economic scale of this project, it is estimated not to exceed €800,000 and therefore only companies with experience and relative expertise as defined in the award criteria in delivering an ERP of similar scope and scale will be considered. Currently each manufacturing site has a legacy business system over 10 years old, which is functional but not completely fit for purpose. The Sales and marketing business has recently invested in a separate CRM system and is actively running the business on that system as an existing interface, we also have a computerised maintenance management system, weighbridge, EDI, Quality control and payroll systems. There are no common processes across these entities other than financial planning and reporting. It is the ambition for this program to create an integrated business operating common processes across the business Units while maintaining the legal entities. In addition to this, a common set of Master files would be expected. The primary focus of the project is to re-align the business to deliver improved customer service, enhance customer focus and increase organisational efficiency, performance and profitability. Delivering common supply chain planning and operations processes across the business with supporting financials and integration of ERP to the Shop floor MES systems. Candidates must be able to ensure that they have the capabilities to deliver a system Candidates must be able to offer a fit for purpose ERP that underpins the following business process model design.
