The works GENERALLY consist of the Refurbishment of existing Windows to include the FOLLOWING: • Provide for removing sashes, strip all paint and redecorate. • Provide for removing all external putty, Tighten sash joints as necessary and repair glazing bones • Provide for Reglazeing cracked or loose panes with 4mm clear float glass (as per original) Fit new glazing sprigs to each pane • Provide for Re-putty & Re-decorate to all sashes • Provide for strip all paint and redecorate all frames. • Provide for Refitting three pane hopper sashes and seal in position • Provide for Refitting existing 6 pane sashes on new sash chords • Provide for Adjusting weights to ensure sashes are correctly balanced • Provide for Fitting draught proofing • Provide for Fitting restrictor blocks above horns of bottom sashes and below horns of top sashes. • Provide for Fitting brass catch, lifts and sash eye to each window • Provide for making good (skimming+painting) of the existing internal walls where necessary. • Provide for General attendances & removals • Allow for all necessary fall arrest / safe access equipment to carry-out the works.
