SECAD Partnership CLG - Wellbeing and Resilience supports for individuals experiencing disadvantage or social exclusion

The RFT has ended, you cannot answer the invitation.

SECAD is seeking to engage an external contracted resource to provide key wellbeing and resilience supports to individuals who are engaged with different SECAD services. The contracted party which may be sourced from an academic organisation or institute or partnership thereof will be required to shape, deliver and evaluate a Wellbeing and Resilience support programme to be implemented across several locations in County Cork. SECAD has identified growing concerns over the wellbeing of some of our more vulnerable participants. In response SECAD is undertaking to provide a coordinated response to participants who are experiencing stress and anxiety because of employment issues, varied life challenges and mental health difficulties. The Wellbeing & Resilience support resource will help develop the participants’ resilience and assist them to engage with local education, employment and mental health services so that they can be supported to improve their current circumstances. It is recommended that the role will involve the Wellness Recovery Action Plan® or WRAP® technique, and therein require the services of a qualified WRAP® facilitator as part of this training. The Wellness Recovery Action Plan® or WRAP® is a self-designed prevention and wellness process (see more detail below). 2. Tasks Tasks will include; o Identifying emerging issues and needs in relation to the target group and ensuring these are raised and responded to appropriately, including signposting participants to appropriate services in the community e.g. mental health teams. o Designing and delivering customised workshops in response to identified needs or emerging issues among our participants/beneficiaries which integrates the key concepts of WRAP® o Providing one to one follow up as required to beneficiaries (an identified proportion only). o Working with host group organisations (of the Tus programme) to provide first step supports for participants in their care/place of operation.
