SCC2019/007 - Minor Building Works Framework for Small to Medium sized Building Projects 2019

The Housing Department of Sligo County Council wish to establish a multi-party framework agreement with suitably qualified and experienced Building Contractors for the provision of a variety of small to medium sized building works over the lifetime of the framework. It is estimated that approximately €800,000 value of works will be carried out using this framework on an annual basis (this will be subject to funding). The works may include but will not be limited to the following: • Refurbishment of aquired houses. • Housing Adaption Grant Scheme Works • Refurbishment of Fire Damaged and/or vacated Local Authority Housing Units (Voids) • Energy Efficiency retrofitting Works to Local Authority Units • Refurbishment of Local Authority Housing for re-letting. • Sundry building works to municipal buildings • housing maintenance repairs. This work may include but will not be limited to the following: • Electrical surveys and other work • Leaking taps, leaking stopcock, broken toilets, burst pipes, • Installing showers, replacement of electrical fixtures/fittings etc. • Repairs to central heating systems in local authority housing/buildings, • Leak detection • Provision of water connections to houses, • Repairs of watermains etc • Working on sewers & manholes • Working on septic tanks and percolation areas • Landscaping, grass cutting, planting and maintenance of open spaces • Radon measurement and remedial works, where required, to Council housing stock, • Replacement/repair to doors/windows etc • Roof and chimney repairs • Ceiling, wall & floor repairs and painting • Central heating planned maintenance • Any other Housing Maintenance works that may arise. The proposed framework is intended to commence in Q2 of 2019 and run for a 2 year timeframe.
