Request for Tender for the Provision of Veterinary Services to Cavan County Council. Food Safety Services • To be responsible for enforcement of Food Legislation listed in Schedule 1 of current service contract between Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) and Cavan County Council and all other matters relating to food inspection and analysis. Miscellaneous • Provide advice to Cavan County Council as required on issues of a veterinary nature relating to implementation of veterinary legislation, to include Food Safety legislation, Animal Welfare legislation, Animal By-Products, Control of Horses Act, Control of Dogs Act, Dog Breeding Establishments Act, etc. • Provide veterinary advice and written reports on the suitability of relevant planning applications. • Audit/inspection of structure, equipment, and operational hygiene in accordance with the relevant SOPs on the FSAI Safety net or as otherwise agreed. • Completing FSAI returns, completion and submission to Cavan County Council of information, reports and returns, as directed by the Veterinary Inspector Please refer to Tender Documents for further details.
