TCD-19-45 - E3 Ground Investigation Works for Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin

The University Seeks to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to carry out ground investigation works located at the University’s city center campus. The Ground Investigation (GI) shall comprise boreholes, trial pits and foundation inspection pits. The investigation also includes in-situ testing, geotechnical (including undisturbed), geo environmental and groundwater sampling, groundwater installations, groundwater monitoring, laboratory testing and final factual reporting including electronic data (AGS). Due to current access restrictions, the works are divided into two phases. Phase 1 works will be completed under the existing site conditions. Phase 2 works will be completed following demolition of a number of buildings on the site. The specifications and works requirements are wholly described within the tender document set. Tenders must be submitted via the electronic postbox available on www.etenders.gov.ie by the response deadline. Only Tenders submitted to the electronic postbox will be accepted. Tenders submitted by any other means (including but not limited to by email, fax, post or hand delivery) will NOT be accepted. The University intenders to conduct a site walkover, this will take place on 18th April 2019 at 10am and will be a once off occurrence.
