RE: INVITATION TO TENDER FOR TOILET REFURBISHMENT & UPGRADING SWS 2019 AT ST LOUIS HIGH SCHOOL RATHMINES

On behalf of our client you are invited to tender for the Toilet Refurbishment SWS 2019 Project at St Louis High School, Charleville Road, Rathmines, Dublin 6, as set out in the attached documents which includes Form of Tender and Pricing Schedule, project specification.
It is the intention of the client that the firm appointed as main contractor for the construction of works shall undertake where required, the duties of Project Supervisor Construction Stage as set out in Articles 16 to 23 of Safety, Health and Welfare (Construction) Regulations 2013. Tenders must include all costs associated with the provision of such duties. A Preliminary Health and Safety Plan is included with the tender documents.
All tenderers must return the signed DoES Suitability Declaration for Small Works and confirm compliance with all DoES conditions and requirements set out in TGD 007 – refer to Department of Education & Skills website. It is a condition of the Department of Education that a C2 Tax Clearance must be in place for grant payment and that you are a member of an approved Construction Industry Pensions Assurance and Sick Pay Scheme.
Tenderers are instructed to contact the school in order to arrange a visit to inspect the nature and extent of the works. Please contact the Principal Clíona McDonough on 01 497 5458 to do so.
Tenders must be submitted on the enclosed Form of Tender and Pricing Schedule.
Your tender should be clearly marked “ST LOUIS RATHMINES SWS 2019” and returned, by post or by hand, to the offices of QBB Architects, Bloomfield House, Bloomfield Avenue, SCR, Dublin, D08 WT10 not later than 4pm on Friday 29th March 2019.
The Form of Contract will be the Short Public Works Contract for Building and Civil Engineering Works Designed by the Employer Published by the Department of Finance (Most recently published edition).
Please note:
1 No tenderer will be remunerated for any expense incurred in preparation of this tender.
2 The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
