Grange Additional Accom-2019 - Additional Accomodation Grange Post Primary School - RN 72330D

The project will comprise of a full design team to provide project management and design consultancy services for the full design, statutory approvals, planning, fire, and DAC, tendering process, procurement and subsequent periodic inspections and certification of construction of the following works to Grange Post Primary School, Grange, Co Sligo, through an open procedure on eTenders. The design and construction of permanent additional accommodation comprising 2 General Classroom’s (58.6m2), 1 General Classroom (38.5m2), Home Economics Room, Construction Studies/Engineering/Technology Room, Technologies Preparation Room and additional toilets at the above school as detailed in the Schedule of Accommodation below. Please see attached Project Brief for a full in-depth description of works required. The preferred location of the additional accommodation has not yet been identified by MSLETB, which may require the removal of an existing structure. Professional fees for the project entail the Design, Surveys as required (including normal associated costs such as surveys and investigations as required e.g. archaeological, topographical. Professional fees are deemed to include for procuring all required statutory consents (Planning Permission, Fire Safety Certificate and Disability Access Certificate) and for complying with eth Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 2014. Mayo Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board(MSLETB) will be the client for this project. A submission to the Department of Education and Skills and a project review meeting in Tullamore, attended by the school authorities and the Design Team Leader (and any other consultants that the Design Team Leader deems appropriate), will be required at the end of stage one when the Brief has been analysed and options for the development considered and prepared.
