Dear Sirs

 

 

 

You are hereby invited to submit a bona fide tender for building works at St Mary’s Primary School, College Street, Mullingar.  A hard copy of your tender should be submitted to the offices of Patrick Weafer Architects Ltd, Mary Street, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath on or before 12 noon, Tuesday 12th March 2019. Tenders received after this date will not be considered.  Contractors should note that the contract period is 12-14 weeks and works should commence on site immediately following the award of the contract (assume April / May 2019 and work should be fully complete on or before end of August 2019). However, each Candidate must submit an outline programme assuming a commencement date of April/ May. Acceptance of the tender is also subject to checking and approval of the Declaration of Suitability for Contractors for Small Works

The following is enclosed and forms part of the tender package:

 

1.         Form of Tender + Schedule

 

2.         Instructions to Tenderers including the Preliminary Safety & Health Plan. 

 

3.         Specification and drawings prepared by the Design Team comprising of the Architect, Civil/Structural Engineers and M&E Consultant.  Details are set out in the schedule attached to the Form of Tender.

 

4.         Contractor is strongly recommended to carry out a thorough examination of the site in order to fully acquaint himself/herself of the full extent and nature of works involved. 

 

Tenderers must submit the following information with their tender:

 

A.        The completed Form of Tender (hard copy)

 

B.        Full & Detailed breakdown of the tender price including elemental breakdown for mechanical and electrical service.

 

C.         Outline programme
