Bord Iascaigh Mhara 2019 - Service Brokerage Specialist, Interpretational and Educational Experiences

In support of BIM’s mission, it is necessary to provide educational and interpretive experiences for the public and other stakeholders and to support the sector in developing their businesses and social licence. BIM is now seeking tenders for the supply and brokerage and support services to assist BIM in managing this programme. BIM is seeking a service provider who can support and facilitate us in all aspects of the process of taking projects from concept through to reality. The level of support will vary from time to time and BIM will require a flexible approach from the successful tenderer ranging from light touch guidance in some instances to a full package of support in others. BIM wish to blend our own resources seamlessly with the successful tenderer to keep costs as low as possible whilst leveraging maximum benefit from such a synergistic approach. BIM will require the successful tenderer to nominate a senior member in advance of each project initiation and this resource must be available to the project director in BIM at all times. The successful tenderer will be expected to provide the full concept, design, implementation and management of the activities set out above to the highest standard, adding value to the BIM brand. In addition, they must also be able to design and deliver a stimulating experience to the public regarding Ireland’s vibrant seafood industry to a fixed budget and strict time table.
