RE: Invitation to Tender – Glenties Vacant House Works 2019 (Batch 1) – Contract 191.1

Donegal County Council (Glenties Municipal District) Housing Section invites suitably qualified contractors interested in tendering for the Construction Contract Works to carry out repair, remedial and upgrade works to 12 No. Council owned vacant housing units within the Glenties Municipal District of Co. Donegal to submit a tender for the above contract complying with the enclosed Instruction to Tenderers.

 

The works to the vacant properties involve: kitchen replacement/repairs, plumbing & heating repairs and upgrades, electrical repairs and upgrades, windows and doors repairs/replacement, upgrading of wall and attic insulation, chimney cleaning and roof ventilation installation, ground works in some instances including fencing, footpaths, drainage etc. All other internal and external works associated with upgrading these vacant properties.

Contractors are advised for pre-tender inspections of the sites, contents of same and works involved. Keys for inspection of these units can be made available upon request/ appointment by contacting the Housing Section on 074 95 61305 / 61354. The last day for availability of keys will be Monday 18^th February 2019.

Tenders (Only Completed - Form of Tender, Schedule, Completed Suitability Assessment Questionnaire – QW2 Form and Pricing Documents) must be submitted to Donegal County Council, Council Secretariat, First Floor, County House, Lifford, Co. Donegal before 12.00 noon on Friday the 22^nd February 2019.
