Con/0003/2019 - Refurbishment and Upgrade of Plunkett Block 7 at the Curragh Camp

A maximum number of eight contractors are to be shortlisted, subject to a sufficient number of suitably prequalified applicants. Short-listing will be by way of 'random selection' from those applicants who satisfy the suitability criteria. All satisfactory applicants, assessed on a 'pass-fail' basis, will advance to the selection process. A senior member of the Department of Defence staff, of rank not less than Principal Officer, will oversee the random selection exercise. The first eight names drawn will be deemed to be included on the initial short-list of tenderers with the remainder of the suitable applicants continuing to be drawn and their positions recorded. Any of the initially short-listed tenderers who fail to verify their compliance with the suitability criteria will be removed from consideration and replaced with a firm from the reserve list. Reserves shall be called upon in the order that they were drawn in during the random selection draw.
