CYCLEPARKING2018 - Framework Agreement for the Supply, Siting and Installation of Bicycle Racks and Shelters and/or Scooter Parking

An Taisce Green-Schools Travel programme is a national initiative by An Taisce Environmental Education Unit (EEU) and is funded by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, supported by the National Transport Authority. The aim of the programme is to encourage pupils to use sustainable modes of transport for their journey to school. There are significant environmental, social, health, safety, economic and quality of life benefits to be derived from reversing the trend of increased car use to schools. As part of this programme it is envisaged that cycle parking and scooter parking will be installed at various school locations in Ireland. The programme is a rolling programme subject to funding. An Taisce EEU is running this competition to establish a multi-provider framework of contractors for the supply and installation of cycle parking and scooter parking under this programme. Up to five (5) Tenderers will be appointed to the Framework Agreement, insofar as there is a sufficient number of Tenderers who satisfy the selection criteria and of admissible Tenders which meet the award criteria. Tenderers appointed to the framework will be required to enter into the Framework Agreement (PW-CF9) included with the Instructions to Tenderers. An Taisce EEU may hold mini-competitions under the Framework Agreement for the award of contracts for the supply and installation of cycle parking and scooter parking at single or multiple schools in line with its requirements from time to time. Mini-competitions will be held in accordance with the terms of the Framework Agreement and the framework rules and award criteria set out in it.
