Tendering Contractor, 15th October 2018. Re: Fire Safety Upgrade works at Milford Road, Castletroy, Limerick Development: Fire Safety upgrade together with all ancillary works and services, as detailed on drawings and specifications. Location: Milford Road, Castletroy, Limerick A Dhaoine Uaisle, On behalf of our client, The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, Limerick Region, Blackberry Park, Ballykeefe, Dock Road, Limerick, you are hereby invited to submit a tender for the proposed development as detailed and specified in the attached documentation. Please note that the project works are programmed to start in the near future. Tendering Contractors should note the following; 1. It is a Condition of Tender that a tendering contractor should inspect the site prior to submitting their tender to ascertain the nature and scope of the works involved. Failure to comply with this condition will remove any possible entitlement for the contractor, to any additional extras costs on foot of lack of knowledge of the existing building and environment, should their tender be successful. Contractors may view the Building by contacting Peter Lavelle Building Surveyors to make a viewing appointment during normal working hours. 2. The lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted. The tender evaluation will be on the basis of the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT), the criteria and weightings are as follows. (The Pricing Document is to be compiled using the information given in the Specification and the drawings) Every significant cost item of the works detailed in the specification and the drawings, is to be identified and costed and a Schedule of Costs \Rates must be produced and submitted with the Tender.

4. Tenderers must have: a current C2 and\or Tax Clearance Certificate, Public Liability Insurance cover of minimum €6,500,000.00 Employers Liability Insurance cover of minimum €13,000,000 and Contractors all Risk Insurance appropriate to the project, which also indemnifies the client against all claims - Minimum €10,000.00 Formal Proof of capacity to perform role of Project Supervisor Construction Stage Suitably qualified staff to carry out the project and evidence of same. Evidence of similar projects successfully completed within the last 5 years. Proof of suitably trained staff in all aspects of Health & Safety relevant to the project – this is a particularly difficult project from an H & S perspective. 5. On the award of the contract, the successful tenderer must produce documentary evidence that the insurances and other documents noted above are current and in effect, including copies of policies and receipts for premiums. The contractor must also submit a copy of their current C2. 6. The Form of Tender (in one envelope) and the inked up, completed Schedule of Costs\Rates and all other documents (in another envelop) must be returned in sealed envelopes, each clearly endorsed, labelled and marked thus "Tender for Accessibility Upgrade Works" Any tenders not correctly submitted will be deemed invalid. The completed Tender documents must be returned to Ms. Norma Bagge, Director of Services, Brothers of Charity, Blackberry Park, Ballykeefe, Dock Road, Limerick no later than 12:00 noon, on Monday 5th November 2018.
