Dear Sir,
You are invited to submit a competitive tender for the above works as described in the following attached documents*:-
1. SCOPE OF WORKS
2. SPECIFICATION
3. SUMMARY PRICE BREAKDOWN & FORM OF TENDER
4. TENDER DRAWINGS
The works in the drawings and specifications shall be carried out under the terms and conditions of THE short public works contract PW-CF6. Please note that under this contract the Contractor will accept all risks on quantities. It is imperative that you visit the site (please contact THE SCHOOLS SECRETARY ON 01 462 4143) to assess the scope and nature of the works as no claim will be entertained in respect of inadequate knowledge of site/EXISTING BUILDING LAYOUT AND conditions.
You are advised to study the tender documents carefully before preparing your tender to ascertain the full extent and scope of the works. Your tender should be priced in accordance with the instructions set down and all documents should be completed in full as requested. The Employer reserves the right to accept the lowest or any tender.

“CONSTRUCTION OF extension to GLENASMOLE NATIONAL SCHOOL” and shall also be stamped on the rear with the contractor’s name.
Faxed /e-mail tenders will not be accepted. It is the intention of the Client to appoint the successful contractor as Project Supervisor for the construction stage, to carry out the duties as set down in the 2006 Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations (OR AS AMENDED). This appointment is subject to confirmation of the successful tenderer’s competence to carry out the duties set down in the legislation.

TENDER PRICE IS TO INCLUDE FOR VALUE ADDED TAX AT THE CURRENT RATE. TENDERERS SHOULD CONTACT THE EMPLOYER TO ARRANGE INSPECTION/VIEWING OF PROPERTY. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT ALL TENDER’S ARE OBLIGED TO VISIT THE SUBJECT SITE AND INSPECT THE BUILDING PRIOR TO TENDER SUBMISSION. THE TIMELINE FOR COMPLETION OF WORKS SHALL INCLUDED WITHIN TENDER SUBMISSION.
