This specification document outlines the requirements for a Densitometer DXA Scanner for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital (TSCUH). It is imperative that any offers made take account that TSCUH is a Paediatric Hospital with patients ranging from neonates to young adults. Preference will be given to products that offer a benefit to our paediatric needs as outlined in this RFT document.TSCUH is seeking technically competent Suppliers to deliver the best value, and to deliver continuous improvement in cost savings and efficiency gains across the life of contract / agreement.Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, acting in its capacity as Contracting Authority, invites tenders from suitably qualified interested parties that wish to participate in an Open Competitive Tender Process Agreement for the provision of one Densitometer DXA Scanner.The device must be licenced for use in Ireland. The attached URS (User Requirement Specification), Vendor Questionnaire & Medical Device Equipment Management Committee Questionnaire must be completed. Costs should include capital, maintenance cost and all consumables any other item of expenditure. Annual Maintenance cost must be provide year per year for 3 years.
