Housing Development Swinford - Proposed 27 House Development at Kilkelly Road, Swinford, Co. Mayo.

This green field, site for the proposed development, is located on the periphery, of the town of Swinford, on the Kilkelly Road. The proposed works will involve the construction of 27 new dwelling units. The site is 'greenfield' in nature and generally rising from the public road to an elevated woodlands to the rear, with some scrub overgrowth and a stream which traverses the site. The proposed works will involve the formation of new housing development, access entrance from the Kilkelly Road and the construction 27 no new dwelling units. Accommodation to be provided will include: - 1No. Two Storey, Terraced Blocks of 2x 3bedm units and 1x 4bedm Unit. - 1No. Two Storey, Terraced Blocks of 3x 3bedm units. - 3No. Two Storey, Semi-detached Blocks of 3bedm units. - 3No. Two Storey, Semi-detached Blocks of 2bedm units. - 4No. Single Storey, Semi-detached Blocks of 2bedm units and - 1No Single Storey, 'Special Needs' 4bedm Detached unit. Houses will have identified open frontages and secure rear garden areas, external stores, screen / boundary walls and new utility connections - all in keeping with the original development. Externally, new public pathways, parking spaces and Green Spaces are to be provided together with all new public utility connections to each unit. The development of the site will involve bulk oversite excavation and filling due to poor ground conditions. Culverting of existing stream and some diversion of existing services on site will also be required.
