Construction of a new Forensic Science Laboratory at Backweston, Celbridge, Co. Kildare – Invitation to tender for appointment as Reserved Specialist for Mechanical, Electrical and Cleanroom Installation Works.
Dear Sir/Madam,
The Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland hereby invite you to prepare and submit a tender for the above contract in accordance with the Works Requirements set-out in the enclosed Form of Contract and documentation.
The closing date for receipt of tenders is Friday, 09 August 2019. The completed Form of Tender and Appendix and accompanying details as specified in the enclosed tender documentation must be delivered into the custody of the Office of Public Works, 52 St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2 by 12:00 noon on that date. Please follow the instructions and specifications regarding format of both hard and soft copies contained in the Instructions to Tenderers and other documents issued for this competition.
Please note that all documents relating to this competition are available to download from www.etenders.gov.ie ONLY. All communication should be in accordance with the rules contained within the documentation. The supplier is requested to carefully read the documentation in relation to format/protocol for questions, response times etc.
The Contracting Authority will not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses incurred in preparing a response. The Authority also reserves the right to cancel the procurement at any stage up to formal conclusion of a contract.
Suppliers are requested to monitor emails from EU-SUPPLY (the eTenders website) as clarifications will be notified using the eTenders messaging facility rather than the Authority’s corporate email address.
Tenders will be assessed on a MEAT (Most Economically Advantageous Tender) basis using a combination of price and quality criteria. The weighting and details of each quality criterion is available in the tender documentation.
Please mark your tender package with “FSI2017-RSMEC – Forensic Science Laboratory – RS Mech Elec Cleanroom Tender” and carefully follow the instructions contained in the tender documentation. Please note that production of a Valid Tax Clearance Certificate will be required before any contract can be placed.
