CS2018/01 - Provision of Core Network Support and Maintenance Services

In scope: 1. Maintenance of the existing core and edge switches to include patching and configuration when required. 2. Maintenance and support for the existing Firewalls (included patching and configuration, the successful contractor must have experience with Fortinet firewalls configured in a High availability configuration). Testing the failover of the Sligo Training Centre (STC) firewalls and documentation of the process twice annually is a mandatory requirement. The successful contractor must be in a position to liaise directly with Fortinet and open tickets when required. The successful contractor will work with Fortinet support until the issue is resolved at no additional cost to MSLETB. 3. Remote network support when required. 4. Backup of configuration for each switch. 5. Maintenance of existing Wireless networks in both the Sligo and Ballina Training Centres and configuration edits when required. 6. Switch replacement for all core and edge switches to include setup and configuration within the timelines in section 4.1.3 (See Switch Replacement Details section below for switch replacements.) 7. Act as a liaison with Government Network (GN) engineers when required. 8. Documentation of all existing network switches, Firewalls, configurations and schematics. 9. Update and edits to this documentation when changes are made to the system. 10. All documentation to be handed over to MSLETB management to include administrative usernames and passwords (within 8 weeks of being awarded a support contract).
