NMR Service Contract - Three Year Service Contract on a 500MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer

IT Tallaght wishes to purchase a three year service contract on a 500MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer to be used by our undergraduate, postgraduate students, and industrial partners of the institute. The services and parts must be compatible with our 500MHz NMR spectrometer which is a Bruker 500MHz Avance III system. The three year service contract must cover the following items: 1. Monitoring and Security of System • Remote monitoring of liquid helium levels to avoid a magnet quench situation • Should a quench occur, the magnet will be brought back to field at no additional cost to IT Tallaght 2. Technical Support for Spectrometer Issues • Telephone support • Remote desktop connection support • Onsite support in 3 days or less for repair (after raising purchase order) • Supply of consumable (wear and tear) parts for spectrometer 3. PC Hardware and Software • Provide software updates • Provide firmware updates • Update the PC hardware (as required) 4. System Maintenance • Perform planned (preventative) maintenance on an annual basis
