Raheen Condition Review - Engineering Consultant Services for Condition Review at Raheen Business Park, Co Limerick

IDA Ireland is seeking an Engineering Consultancy Firm to carry out a detailed report of the condition of the roads, footpaths, water mains, foul & surface sewers at IDA Business Park, Raheen, Co Limerick (area marked in magenta on the attached map in Appendix B extending to c. 8,306m). The final report must outline the condition of each of these services and make recommendations with regard to undertaking repairs or replacements if deemed necessary of these services and the estimated costs of works recommended. The overall aim of this project is to ensure that the infrastructure on the Park is in line with current standards. The final report must also contain a profile of the capacities for the Park. The project shall be conducted in two phases, with Phase 1 being a desk‐top assessment comprising collection of all relevant information and preparation of maps and draft report for the current and proposed infrastructure which will involve making recommendations and completing the process for the delivery of same. Phase 2 will include management of the procurement process for the appointment of suitable contractors to deliver the resulting recommended infrastructure upgrades / repairs. It should be noted that any proposed works will be subject to IDA Board approval and will be budget dependent. The following surveys (not limited to) must form part of the report; 1. Topographical survey of IDA roadway, footpaths and infrastructure 2. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey to identify underground services 3. CCTV survey of full foul & surface water sewers 4. Road core samples to determine the road construction (1 sample per 50m) 5. Signage review (including Health & Safety) 6. Design & review of new footpaths and cycle facilities (where required) 7. Survey of the IDA Park Boundary Fence Note IDA Ireland will directly appoint the survey companies following the preparation of tenders and recommendation on appointment by the successful consultant.
