HH010 - New Maintenance Workshop at Rooskey, Co. Roscommon

The works shall include the construction of a portal frame building including the following (non exhaustive list): • Excavation of site to formation level for foundations. • Inspection and testing of formation level to ensure a minimum CBR of 5%. • Construction of pad foundations at column locations with cast in holding down bolts. • Construction of strip footing under external and internal load bearing walls as per engineering drawings. • Construction of dead work to masonry walls. • Construction of internal ground bearing slab as per engineering drawings. Makeup under internal slab as per engineering drawings and specification. • Erection of steel frame including portal frames, tie beams, bracing as well as ancillary steelwork for the roller shutter doors and gantry crane. • Concrete encasement of steel columns to eaves level as per specification. • Construction of external cavity walls as per engineering drawings and specification. • Installation of cladding rails and insulated cladding panels as per specification. • Installation of roof purlins, insulated roof panels and roof light trimmers as per engineering drawings and specification. • Construction of internal load bearing walls. • Encasement of steel sections supporting first floor precast units. • Installation of first floor precast hollowcore units with structural screed. • Installation of precast stairs. • Act as PSCS for the duration of the works and comply with all current Health and Safety Standards and Regulations.
