Note: This outline description is a general outline and should be read in conjunction with the Architect’s Scope of Work descripted on the Architect’s Drawings. Areas 1 and 2A Note: Previous upgrade works have occurred in these areas. DDLETB have outlined that a full upgrade is therefore not required. Following opening up works, contractor is to report on existing condition of primary roof structure, insulation, felt batten system, rain water goods, fascia and soffit and flashings to all of the above. and Architect to inspect and approved. 1. REMOVE EXISTING TILES INCLUDING ALL RIDGE TILES. 2. REMOVE ANY DEFECTIVE BATTENS 3. STRIP BACK AND REMOVE EXISTING ROOF MEMBRANE AND ALL ASSOCIATED FLASHING AND INSULATION ON ALL FLAT ROOF AREAS, EXPOSING THE EXISTING DECK. 4. EXISTING ROOFLIGHTS TO BE DISENSEMBLED AND STORED FOR REUSE. FLASHINGS TO BE SALVAGED AND REUSED WHERE NECESSARY. NOTE: ALL MATERIALS TO BE SORTED AND TO BE DISPOSED OFFSITE. Areas 2 and 3 1. REMOVE EXISTING TILES INCLUDING ALL RIDGE TILES 2. REMOVE ALL TIMBER BATTENS AND FIXINGS 3. REMOVE EXISTING FELT UNDERLAY 4. ROOF TIMBERS TO BE INSPECTED BY TIMBER SPECIALIST TO REPORT ON STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY. 5. REMOVE ALL FLAT BED VALLEY GUTTERS, FLASHINGS AND INSULATION. 6. REMOVE EXISTING FASCIA, SOFFIT AND ALL RAIN WATER GOODS. 7. REMOVE ALL ROOFLIGHTS AND LANTERN ROOF LIGHTS AND ASSOCIATED FLASHING AND FIXINGS. NOTE: ALL MATERIALS TO BE SORTED AND TO BE DISPOSED OFFSITE. 7. Works Schedule Summary Areas 1 and 2A 1. INSTALL NEW CONCRETE INTERLOCKING ROOF SYSTEM AND RIDGE TILES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION. NOTE: CONTRACTOR TO INCLUDE FOR ALL FIXINGS AND FIXTURES AND NEW CONTOUR INLINE VENTS. AMOUNT ON PLAN IS INDICATIVE. ROOF SPECIALIST TO ADVISE ON AMOUNT REQUIRED BASED ON CALCULATION. 2. REPLACE ANY BATTENS WITH NEW TREATED TIMBER BATTENS IN ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATION. INCLUDING ALL FIXINGS. CONTRACTOR TO ALLOW FOR 10% REPLACEMENT. 3. REPAIR AND RESEAL WITH APPROVED TAPE ANY DEFECTIVE VAPOUR PERMEABLE UN
