TSCUH12FEB18MEU - Temple Street Children’s University Hospital (TSCUH) now invites tenders via an open competitive tender process for the provision of a Mobile Endoscopy Unit

The Department of Clinical Speech & Language “Cleft Lip & Palate Service”, at the Children’s University Hospital Temple Street , seeks via this RFT, the supply of a Mobile Endoscopy Unit for initial intended application for paediatric nasendoscopy. Mobile endoscopy unit must be easily transportable. (We will require dimensions of trolley/equipment to determine required storage space) Initial intended use is for paediatric nasendoscopy. Needs to be modular or have the capacity to be used for swallowing diagnostics [Flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallow (FEES)] and Stroboscopy in the future. As the unit is mobile, will we need to save footage to a server using a USB Stick/SIM Card, or with functionality to offer upload facility via WIFI. Equipment offered should integrate with software from DICOM/PACS to be able to view video fluoroscopic palatal studies from the same patient. Include full costings for accessories and other accessories deemed appropriate. Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, acting in its capacity as Contracting Authority, invites tenders from suitably qualified interested parties that wish to participate in an Open Competitive Tender Process Agreement for the provision of Mobile Endoscopy Unit. Please note that this competition will have initial device implementation in TSCUH and may also be implemented in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Drumlin (OLCHC) in advance of both Hospitals planned transfer and amalgamation into the New Children’s Hospital (NCH). In advance of any move into the NCH a new entity may be formed incorporating TSCUH & OLCHC and our services contract will allow for transfer to this new entity if and when required. Please also note that any contract award from this tender competition is also open to all Contracting authorities in the Irish health sector including but not limited to the Health Service Executive (HSE), the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) and HSE funded agencies
