TSCUH31012018RCAMERA - Temple Street Children’s University Hospital (TSCUH) now invites tenders via an open competitive tender process for the provision of a Retinal Camera System

Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, acting in its capacity as Contracting Authority, invites tenders from suitably qualified interested parties that wish to participate in this Open Competitive Tender Process for the supply of a Retinal Camera System. The Retinal Camera system must provide a superior Retinal Camera view via a high quality HD digital camera incorporating Mydriatic and non-mydriatic colour photography functionality. It is imperative that any offers made take account that TSCUH is a Paediatric Hospital with patients ranging from neonates to young adults. Preference will be given to products that offer a benefit to our paediatric needs. The device must be licenced for use in Ireland. The attached URS (User Requirement Specification), Vendor Questionnaire & Medical Device Equipment Management Committee Questionnaire must be completed. Costs should include capital,maintenance cost and all consumables any other item of expenditure.Annual Maintenance cost must be provide year per year for 3 years. A single vendor will be appointed to take responsibility for supply, delivery and all commissioning and training. The decision as to who is a competent and experienced vendor will be at the sole discretion of Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street, Dublin 1. Please note that this competition will have initial device implementation in TSCUH and may also be implemented in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin (OLCHC) in advance of both Hospitals planned transfer and amalgamation into the New Children’s Hospital (NCH). In advance of any move into the NCH a new entity may be formed incorporating TSCUH & OLCHC and our services contract will allow for transfer to this new entity if and when required. Please also note that any contract award from this tender competition is also open to all Contracting authorities in the Irish health sector including but not limited to the Health Service Executive (HSE), the Health Information and Quality Authority.
