17/211 - Domestic Gas regulators

A Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement for the manufacturing and/or supply of Medium and Low Pressure Domestic Regulators for Gas Networks Ireland. Applicant shall note that if they are appointed to the Framework Agreement, they will be required to supply either directly to the Gas Networks Ireland or at the Contracting Entity's sole discretion, to the Contracting Entity’s Agents or other authorized contractors on the same terms to the terms of the Framework Agreement. All Applicants to note; in order to pre-qualify they must be able to demonstrate that they can fulfil the requirements for Gas Networks Ireland for the specific lot/lots being applied for. It is envisaged that the scope of products and services of the initial Contract to be drawn-down under the Framework Agreement will be, but are not limited to; Medium and Low Pressure Domestic Regulators for gas and will cover the following: The proposed supply requirements are to be divided into two (2) separate lots as detailed below: Lot 1 – Medium Pressure Domestic Regulators Lot 2 – Low Pressure Domestic Regulators Applicants can apply for more than one lot. Applicants must clearly identify which lot/lots they are applying for (Section 4). The requirements for the manufacture and/or supply of the regulators under this Framework Agreement will include arrangements for delivery to GNI Stores located in Cork and Dublin or specified location by the Contracting Entity’s Agents or other authorized contractors. Applicants should note that from time to time over the term of the Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement, the Contracting Entity, at its sole discretion but without altering the overall nature of the Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement, may require to modify the scope of the contract to reflect changes in the regulators, ancillary equipment and fitting requirements required for the operation and maintenance of GNI’s gas network and resulting from technology-driven innovation developments.
