Fire Alarm Panel Upgrade - Fire Alarm Panel Upgrade to an Addressable System and Associated Works at KARE Residential Properties

KARE request that your company tender for this work to support the Facilities department in maintaining its buildings to the highest standards possible, whilst meeting all legislative and regulatory requirements. The KARE Facilities Department require the services of an accredited company to supply and install new addressable fire alarm panels and associated works (heat detectors / smoke detectors / Co2 detectors / Sounders / Break Glass Units and wiring) throughout their residential property portfolio. KARE requires that this work is carried out in strict compliance with all legislative and statutory requirements pertaining to the supply / installation and operation of Fire Alarms Panels and associated equipment. (IS3218: 2013) The KARE residential portfolio comprises of 18 locations, details of which are in the Appendix B section of this document. It is a requirement that each prospective tenderer visit the KARE locations listed, for the purpose of compiling - 1. A complete list of the equipment currently installed and its compatibility with the proposed new addressable fire alarm panel’s, and - 2. Detail any extra / replacements of equipment that may be required throughout the locations. 3. Note – Contractors must ensure that 50% of the project is to be completed by 31/12/2017 4. Note – Contractors must be able to guarantee that all new panels will be installed and the associated project works completed and invoiced to KARE by the 31/01/2018. KARE Housing Association supports 47 people to live in community houses and the facilities department maintain the 18 houses which are located across Kildare and West Wicklow. They are a combination of 4 to 6 bedroom houses with an average square footage of between 2,000 & 3,000sq. ft. You should also outline how you propose to charge on any materials costs. Any additional charges you envisage should be added to Tables B and C and explained.
