ROT DS MOD 2018 - Rotunda Hospital - Delivery Suite Refurbishment & Operating Theatre Extension

The Works include the refurbishment of the existing Delivery Suite of approximate area of 150sqm and the construction of a new three story and roof plant room extension comprising of office facilities, post operative recovery suite, new operating theatre facilities and new plant room, with an approximate area of 300sqm. Associated external site works will also be required to facilitate the construction of the three-story extension building. This includes the construction of a new retaining structure, new road surfaces and diversions of existing drainage and electrical services, as well as the connection of new drainage and electrical services. The refurbishment and construction works are to be completed on a phased basis as the existing Delivery Suite and hospital campus is to be kept live and fully operational at all times throughout the works. The works may also include the construction of a new campus MV substation. The hospital campus is host to a series of protected structures and site elements, all of which are within the vicinity of the proposed works.
